About the Client
Medley & Sons Security is a family-owned home security company located in Louisville, Kentucky. As an authorized ADT supplier and installer, Medley & Sons offers the latest security monitoring and automation technology for both homes and businesses. The company has grown tremendously through word of mouth and referral since its founding in early 2018.
The Goal
Medley & Sons had outgrown their first one-page website.
They wanted to rank higher in Google’s local search results for key phrases related to their business.
Their current website did not have enough pages of content related to home security to let Google know what they are all about, and as a result, the company appeared very far down on the list of home security providers.
Our goal was to increase the search visibility of the website by adding to the total number of pages, targeting specific keywords, crafting custom meta titles and meta descriptions, adding schema markup, as well a host of other best practices for SEO.
Of course, the site also needed a fresh and modern redesign, with real photos of the company interacting with their customers. Security companies are notorious for using stock images, so using real photos would immediately set the company apart.
The Results
The project was completed in just under 3 weeks.
We took photos at 2 locations and the variety of shots added extra depth and dimension to the company. There were lots of children and babies on the set, which made it a ton of fun and showed how family-friendly the business really is.
We established google search console and analytics accounts to track the website’s performance and local visibility.
The new design further increased the credibility and professionalism of the company, and they were pleased with the results!
