About the Client
Located in the beautiful farmlands of Guston, KY, The Venue at Roberts Family Farm is an event venue that hosts weddings, receptions, baby showers, corporate dinners, and other special events. The Venue is owned by Ben and Lindsey Haukom, and the Roberts family farm which opened in 2000, has been in the Roberts family for over 100 years.
The company needed a way to promote their venue and book events before it launched in May of 2020. They wanted a seamless process for interested customers to see what dates The Venue was available and then request a reservation directly on the website. They anticipated common questions people would have and hoped to provide answers on a frequently asked questions page, as well as a section for their policies.
Lindsey and Ben were on the ball when it came to delivering their content and providing revisions. Because of their speed, the project was completed in only 2 weeks!
The home page featured 3D renderings of The Venue and a list of its amenities with several calls to action to book online.
We configured an Acuity Scheduling account for the company, integrating it with their google calendar and website to provide a booking portal for their clients. At the end of the booking workflow, we provided instructions for customers to place their deposit as well as the next steps for signing the rental agreement.
For the agreement, we set The Venue up with a HelloSign account, an electronic document signing software that makes it easy to share documents with customers to have them sign online.
All of these pieces of the puzzle helped the business reduce the amount of upfront work so the owners can focus on other important aspects of running the business.
We have no doubt that The Venue at Roberts Family Farm will be a hit with local and nearby communities, and will be a place to create many special memories for their customers. We were proud to be a part of helping them grow their business!
