Coast Arcade are an indie-rock powerhouse from Auckland, New Zealand. Our team worked with the band to create a website to call their own: one that would house links to their music, tour dates, videos, and engage with fans.

After Owner Evan heard Coast Arcade’s hit single “City Limits,” he was immediately hooked. A quick search online revealed the band didn’t yet have a website.

Sensing an opportunity (and maybe making a bit of a cheeky chess move), Evan registered the domain coastarcade.com and put together a small landing page for the band... you know, so they would talk to him.

It paid off, and we began the conversation about what it would look like to build out a website with everything they wanted.

We kicked off the project by collaboratively exploring the band’s style through moodboards. We presented three different options, each reflecting a unique visual direction. The band gravitated towards the third option, which introduced an electric blue as the primary color to keep the "Coast" in Coast Arcade alive. With the design direction solidified, we moved into the design phase.

The website buildout focused on creating an engaging, fan-friendly experience, including a catalog of the band’s releases with links to all major streaming platforms, a hub for their music videos, an up-to-date listing of upcoming shows, information on the band’s story and member bios, and a way for fans and booking agents to connect with the band.

The band was stoked with the final product, and the website received lots of positive feedback and praise. We think Coast Arcade has a bright future ahead, and we look forward to seeing and hearing what they come up with next. Go show them some love and follow them on all the places.
